The photographic work I'm currently doing is almost all, start to finish, digital. My images are captured with a Canon Powershot G9,  a Fujifilm S2 Pro or a Nikon D300 Digital SLR camera and (for the non-digital part) occasionally by a Holga. Images are then downloaded from digital media cards to the "digital darkroom" in my iMac and adjusted or "re-imagined" in PhotoShop Lightroom and/or Photoshop CS5. The monitor is regularly calibrated with a Munkie spectrometer. The "developed" images are then printed on acid-free archival matte paper with an Epson 3800 pigment system inkjet printer and mounted on acid-free mounting board.

My primary lenses at the moment give me a nice, full range of focal lengths if a bit of a limit in aperture settings. They cover from pretty wide (Nikkor 16-85mm VR) to pretty long (Nikkor 70-300mm VR). My favorite closeup/macro is manual (non-AF) Vivitar 90mm f2.8 I found used in a camera store going out of businessa delightfully sharp lens. Then, to round it out and give me coverage in low light, I have the Nikkor 50mm 1.8. Makes for a versatile and manageable travel kit too.

I use a tripod regularlya Gitzo G1228 with an Acratech ball head or, my most recent acquisition, a very nifty Trekpro monopod . I shoot mostly available light, but I do have and use a SB-28 Speedlite flash and a small assortment of flash slave units and/or a small foldable reflector when the need arises.

All of this plus lenses etc. fit into one of several camera bags. My most used at the moment are an M-Rock sling bag, a Lowepro Orion or a Lowepro Dry Zone.
